The LYDS SRC-LNP6 Wireless NEMA Luminaire Controller supports NB-IoT/LTE-M wireless network technology and NEMA compatibility with ANSI C136.41 standard. The controller supports the MQTT messaging protocol for cloud platform integration and features a built-in base station connection staggering function, as well as FOTA to enhance remote management of lighting fixtures.
NEMA Interface with ANSI C136.41 Standard
NEMA socket is a standardize type of connection defined by ANSI C136 across the lighting industry, supporting 1~10VDC or DALI signal interface to enable easy remote monitoring and control of the lighting fixture.
Base Station Connection Staggering Function
As an NB-IoT/LTE-M IoT cellular device, the number of connections is limited based on 3GPP standard. LYDS designed a connection staggering function for the controller to connect with the base station in discrete batches to avoid large amounts of traffic which may increase the difficulty of remote management.
IoT Messaging Protocol for Cloud Integration
The luminaire controller utilizes the MQTT messaging protocol for cloud integration. Users can use the default MQTT payload or ask for customization to suit their cloud applications.

Efficient Public Utilities
The controller features a built-in light sensor which detects the brightness of the surrounding environment and can schedule lighting brightness and power status by utilizing a dimming profile. Additionally, the controller can adjust the brightness of the lighting fixture based on nearby traffic and usage.
Friendly Digital Service
Without the controller in place, malfunctioning lights had to be reported either by citizens or maintenance crews on regular patrols. The controller provides both location and status of each lighting fixture, allowing for fast and easy detection of faults or other maintenance issues.
