Product Features
The LYDS SRC-LBP6 Wireless Box Luminaire Controller supports NB-IoT/LTE-M wireless network technology with AC power connectable wiring design for lighting fixtures without NEMA sockets. The controller can support dimmable functions for lighting lamps, and can also be used to monitor equipment functionality through AC power directly without any extra CT needed.
DALI or 0~10VDC AO Dimmable Function for Lighting Control
The SRC-LBP6 is designed to be used with lighting lamps without NEMA sockets. It can also pair with meters for equipment functionality monitoring by detecting equipment voltage directly in Smart City applications such as water pumps and more.
Base Station Connection Staggering Function
As an NB-IoT/LTE-M IoT cellular device, the number of connections available with central monitoring service is limited based on the 3GPP standard. LYDS designed a connection staggering function for the controller to connect with the base station in discrete batches to avoid large amounts of traffic which may increase the difficulty of remote management.
IoT Messaging Protocol for Cloud Integration
The luminaire controller utilizes the MQTT messaging protocol for cloud integration. Users can use the default MQTT payload or ask for customization to suit their cloud applications.
Benefits
To help move into the Smart City era, the Smart Luminaire Controller provides the foundation for building Smart City applications that deliver friendly digital service to enhance the experience of both citizens and governments. The LYDS SRC-LBP6 Wireless Box Luminaire Controller not only delivers a digital service for managing lighting, but also helps reduce the city’s environmental impact by provided an energy efficient lighting management solution, reducing energy waste and improving the efficiency of public utilities.
Improved Infrastructure
LEDs have an operational life span, with the intensity of light gradually diminishing as time goes on. The LYDS SRC-LBP6 Wireless Box Luminaire Controller can adapt the power usage of LED lighting based on the expected life cycle to deliver consistent illumination, improving the effectiveness of lighting infrastructure.
Seamless Upgrade by Quick Integration
The controller supports both LSI and RS-485 interface for flexible convergence with reed switches or sensors, seamlessly transforming the lighting fixture into a smart asset. For example, the reed switch can be used to detect if a control box is opened unexpectedly or by unauthorized users.
Friendly Digital Service
Without a controller in place, malfunctioning lights need to be reported either by citizens or maintenance crews on regular patrols. The controller provides both location and status of each lighting fixture, allowing for fast and easy detection of faults or other maintenance issues.
